Gmail and Classroom

Student GMAIL address:
All MS 577 students will be getting a gmail address.
The address will be your First Initial, Last Name, and last 4 digits of your OSIS number.  If my OSIS # was 858991234, then my gmail address would be:
zpaull1234@ms577.net (Please note: THIS IS A FAKE EMAIL ADDRESS.  My real email is:
zpaull@ms577.net).

YOU ARE NOT CREATING A NEW ACCOUNT.  I HAVE MADE ACCOUNTS FOR ALL OF YOU.  YOU ARE SIGNING INTO THAT ACCOUNT.

If you already have a gmail and it opens up, please log out and then add a new account.
Enter your new email address using the format above.
Your password is set up as:
YourPassword123

When you sign in for the first time you will be asked to make a new password.  It has to be at LEAST 8 characters in length. Include letters and numbers.  Make it something you will not forget.
Once you are into gmail, please send me a quick email to confirm it. Please include your name and class in the email.  Thanks!

GOOGLE CLASSROOM!!!!
PARENTS:  Click Here to get email summaries of your child's progress!

After you have opened your new gmail, create a new tab or window and please go to the following website:


Log in to your account using your new email address and password.  
It will ask you if you are a teacher or a student. PLEASE click student.

Then near the upper right of the screen will be a + symbol.  Click it to join a class.  Use one of the codes below to do that.

As an added bonus there is an APP for this for iOS and android.  Go to the app store or chrome web store and look up Google Classroom!
You will also need to install the following apps from google:

Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Drive
